In 1995 Heidi Baker a former missional to the poor in England and Asia, is sad that sensation chapter
in her life is over, but is excited to start a new life in Mozambique, Africa, answering her call to go to feed the poor. As she arrives for the first time at a city called Chihango she finds things worse off than she imagined. She explains this in her book at that place is always enough. Feces were everywhere. The place reeked. The malnourished children had one loving cup of cornmeal a day. They had bloated bellies, and worms in their toes and feet. They sat nearly nonmoving with blank stares. Would there ever be enough love, food, meliorate and life for such a miserable place. But alternatively of conveyting discouraged she cries out. Do something God! Do something finished me! Her ministries, Iris ministries began with just eighty kids nobody wanted and grew to be bigger than she could possibly imagine.
Heidi Baker is currently a missionary to Mozambique, Africa. She grew up in Laguna Beach, California. She has her BA and MA from forefront University and her PhD in systematic theology from Kings College in London. Ever since Heidi Baker was a child, she has always had a heart for the poor. She says in her book, on that point is always enough, I was shaped by my ordinal grade teacher, who had been a missionary to China. She had just come covert from Asia, and showed our class vivid pictures of slums in Hong Kong. I cried with desperation for the race who lived there, and even back then I told God I wanted to go and help them.
