I take on learned that take a firm stand myself avoids many problems in my life. Having been a people pleaser I utilise to try to be the person people wanted me to be instead of expressing my own needs and desires. I found that when I did this I would become resentful when the other person did non figure out what I really wanted. I end up portraying some one that I was non who usually was much more disagree subject to whom I was interacting with than if I had just been myself. Therefore, everyone ended up unhappy.
Of course this resulted from my insecurities and lack of self-esteem. eventually I became to develop an identity for myself that I felt was good and like adapted. However, this took some time and work after I was diagnosed with ADHD, because the ADHD, to begin with it was diagnosed, kept me from ever really understanding myself and who I was. It took constant quantity self-evaluation to change my beliefs about myself and once I did I was able to give myself the swanation and respect that I had non been able to before.





* Accept and Confirm Others
Once I learned to affirm and assert myself better I also learned to be more accepting of others and understand that others can think otherwise than me without opposing me. No one said that the world had to be as I interpreted it, even though I tell myself that, sometimes. I think that having lived with people of many opposite cultures as I take a crap, has given me a broader perspective

of the manageable differences in people and the ability of people to co-exist in malevolence of those differences. I found that even though I did not share some of the beliefs and behaviors they did, I chill out understood and prize that they felt as they did. I saw that if I were to have been brought up in their culture and practices I could easily have the same traits. Even if I did not I still give them their right to be who they are.
