Stephen Colbert was born in Washington, D.C. on May 13th, 1964, but shortly after his birth, his family his mother, father, and Stephens ten other siblings moved to Charleston, North Carolina. There, his parents taught them to be elevated of both their Irish-Catholic and their Southern heritage.
