The Death of a engage Man
The Death of a hired Man is a song that was written by a guy named Robert Frost. Robert was born in San Francisco, California in 1874. Frosts father had died when he was b bely eleven years old. To support the family, Frosts Scottish mother, Isabelle Moody, resumed her career as a school teacher. His family lived in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Robert had graduated from high school in 1892 and attended college only for a few months at Darthm step forwardh. From 1897 to 1899 Frost studied at Harvard but he had left without a degree. When Frost exchange his farm and took his wife and four kids to England in 1912 he thither published his starting signal collection of poems. One of these poems is the poem I read and will be discussing later, which is The Death of a Hired Man. This poem is rough a couple that lives on a farm. A lady named bloody shame waited for a guy named rabbit warren to arrive at home. When Warren arrived home she recognizes him that Silas is back and indeed the two started discussing over him. Mary sates to Warren how worn out Silas looks. Mary and Warren then start talking about how Silas worked on the farm and the boy that helped him is now a scholar, which Silas dislikes. Mary lets Warren know that Silas came back to the house to die.
She explains that Silas sees the place as his home. Warren then had mentioned his wealthy brother and how Silas will not see him. It was because of his pride. But when Warren had entered the house to check on Silas, he turned back around and went outside. He had to tell Mary that he had died.
In both poems and stories there are many different elements that the authors use. Some elements used in writings are; themes, settings, tone, words, imagery, characters, language, structure, style, and symbolism. Most all these elements are used in every writings, but not all have to be used. I will be discussing a few of the elements that are used in this poem written by Robert Frost.
