Diagnosis
Josephine would be diagnosed with schizotypal temper soulfulnessality disorder. Josephine does not like to have contact with others and cannot advance any satisfaction from activities.
Causes
The psychodynamic perspective states that a person with schizophrenic temperament disorder was either abused or were unsufferable by their parents when they were children(Comer, R. J., 2011). A person is futile to give or receive love.
The cognitive perspective on schizoid personality disorder states that a person has deficiencies in their thinking. They are unable to accurately judge their surrounding and therefore unable to award emotion(Comer, R. J., 2011).
Treatments
Most people with schizoid personality disorder do not seek treatment unless it is paired with another disorder(Comer, R. J., 2011). The cognitive-behavioral nest to treatment seems to help some but has very exceptional progress. On the behavioral end of the therapy the therapist teaches the client wise social skills, uses exposure, and role-playing. There is sometimes drug therapy that is used in combination with psychotherapy but offers very little help(Comer, R. J., 2011).
