Capital punishment has changed everyplace the years. It has progressed from hanging, to firing squads, to electrocution, to poisonous gas chambers, to fatal injection. Also support for the stopping point penalty has ranged from 42%, 80%, 66%, 74% and back down to 65% over the years. In my point of view, I am for expectant punishment, yet not the way it is carried out today. I believe that expectant punishment is trance entirely in the case of murder. I also believe that there are a check reasons why the remnant penalty is flawed. The first reason is that it is much expensive. The second is that capital punishment has lost its effectiveness as a deterrent. And the third is that today, capital cases blast far withal long.

I believe in capital punishment, besides only on certain conditions. I only believe that capital punishment is in order for murder, and only that. As the truism goes; an eye for an eye. I feel that if someone is to take someone elses life, then they deserve the same consequences. This gives rightness to the victim and their family. I do not think that it is appropriate in the case of kidnapping, rape, etc. After that type of wickedness is committed, life in jail is a more able punishment.



When a person has been kidnapped, or raped, their life has not been taken. Therefore, the defendant should not be put to death. They should be punished nevertheless, but not in such a severe way.

as yet though I am for capital punishment, I do have a few facts about its defects. The way the death penalty is administered today makes it more expensive to put a person on death row than to put them in jail for life. Once an individual is on death row, appeals range piling up and basically never stop. This breakdown in the system started to occur in 1931.
