Born on the Fourth of July

In the film Born on the 4th of July, tom Cruise plays an average kid, Ron Kovic, shown every few socio-economic classs starting signal when he was about six years of age. As this son matures he becomes more patriotic. While in his senior year of high school his school is visited by Marine recruiters ask for young men to join the Marines and fight in Vietnam. Kovic enlists in the Marines, despite the worries of his friends and family, and gets sent to Vietnam where he is pellet in the chest of drawers and sent home to cope with his wounds and the changed society that now despises the war.
During his guerilla tour, his squad fires upon a colonisation believed to be housing a platoon of VietCong. However, after they stop firing and explore the village, they find on that point were simply civilians in that village, and a crying baby is the only survivor. However, Northern Vietnamese forces come rushing to the village so Kovic must leave the crying baby crumb in order to survive. While firing at foe troops he hears screaming to his right, and shoots without looking. Other US troops scream that a friendly was shot, and Kovic realizes he shot a squad member and not an enemy combatant.



When he reports his peremptory officer what he did, the officer says that is not what happened, and Kovic is not to tell anyone what has happened, and that his fellow soldier was shot by a VietCong soldier.
curtly after, Kovic and his squad come under fire during a guard at another village, and Kovic gets shot in the leg and chest. He continues firing at the enemy despite being shot until a friendly soldier carries him to the rescue chopper. Kovic is returned to the United States to the Bronx gaffers Hospital, and is told that he is paralyzed from the mid-chest down.
After a couplet years Kovic is released from the hospital but restricted to a motorbike chair. He discovers his younger brother is a peace fighter, and greatly dislikes his brother and anyone who doubts the war effort.
