The automobile has usurpationed American growth in many panaches. Some of the most common include loony toons of food, supplies, and people. It has withal brought about economic growth and environmental deterioration. It has also been the cause of many deaths. City life in the early 1900s consisted of walking. But the creation of streetcars and trolleys was the new way for intermetropolis travel. The first gas-powered car was invented in 1893 in Springfield, Massachusetts and in the 1910s and 1920s, the car become the predominate method of travel.
The first automobiles construct were only for the rich due to its harm, yet as its popularity grew, price became affordable for more and more buyers. Soon Americans viewed the automobile as a means of personal transportation and gave them opportunities to work, live, and travel to otherwise areas outside of their communities.
